Moneta
2022 Arkansas-bred Filly by Mr. Money out of Sweet Summer Sun (Quiet American)

We are excited to add a promising Arkansas-bred filly from the 2023 Texas Yearling Sale. The 2022 yearling is from the first crop of foals by new sire Mr. Money. Mr. Money is a multiple graded stakes winner who looks to have a bright future as a sire. The dam of our new filly, Sweet Summer Sun, was a Maiden Special Weight (MSW) winner on the track. She has produced two winners from three starters, both in MSW company at Fair Grounds and Evangeline Downs respectively. We will point our new filly to Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas when she is ready to go racing for trainer Justin Jeansonne.

Lunar Mine

2022 New York-bred Colt by Mineshaft out of Cats Halo (Freud)

We rounded out our 2023 yearling purchases by adding a very impressive looking colt by former horse of the year in sire Mineshaft. We acquired the 2022 yearling from the October OBS Yearling Sale. The new colt definitely looks the part and has an impressive pedigree to match. When Mineshaft has been bred to Freud mares, there have been three foals produced. Of those three, two have eventually won on the racetrack with one a multiple stakes winner. With the new colt's size and pedigree, he could turn out to be a real find. He will be in the barn of trainer Justin Jeansonne.

Muchmorethanready
2020 Louisiana-bred Filly by Tom's Ready out of Astarte (Street Sense)

We claimed three year-old filly Muchmorethanready out of a nine-length winning effort at Delta Downs (11/24/23). We had to survive a 4-way shake to secure the Louisiana-bred filly by Tom's Ready. It was the second win of the meet for her in two starts at Delta. The 2021 Keeneland Yearling Sale graduate will be in the barn of trainer Juan Larrosa. YouTube Video
