Kentucky-bred Colt by Giant Oak out of Corsica (Sky Mesa)


Giant Mesa is a very well bred 2016 Kentucky-bred colt we partnered in purchasing privately after the Ocala Breeders' Sale. The young colt is by multiple graded stakes winner Giant Oak and out of the Sky Mesa mare, Corsica. The young colt broke his maiden in his career debut by 14 lengths at Evangeline Downs. He finished a solid 4th in the $50,000 Jean Lafitte Stakes, after a wide trip throughout. He missed 3rd by one-half length. He is in the barn of trainer Justin Jeansonne.

Louisiana-bred Colt by Medal Count out of Hottimeinthecity (Carson City)

We were able to add a nice Medal Count yearling colt from the Consignor Select Yearling Sale conducted by the Equine Sales Company of Louisiana. New sire Medal Count is a graded stakes winner with his first foals yearlings of 2018. The dam of our new 2017 Louisiana-bred colt is Hottimeinthecity who is a Carson City mare and a producer of multiple winners. He will be in the barn of trainer Justin Jeansonne.

Cajun Creed is a 2015 Louisiana-bred gelding. The well bred gelding is by speedy multiple graded stakes winning first time sire Jimmy Creed. His dam is stakes placed winner Surprise Squall. This is her first foal. The colt's pedigree includes a number of stakes horses. The now multiple stakes placed, Allowance winning son of Jimmy Creed is in the barn of trainer Danny Pish.

Perfect Trip

Louisiana-bred Gelding by Guilt Trip out of Perfect Six (Sarasota Six)


We were able to acquire by private purchase 2016 Louisiana-bred gelding Perfect Trip after a solid maiden debut at Fair Grounds. The young gelding is by new sire and graded stakes winner Guilt Trip and out of the graded stakes placed Sarasota Six mare Perfect Six. The dam is a producer of multiple winners, including a multiple graded stakes winner. Perfect Trip was bred by J. Adcock and Adcock's Red River Farm and will be in the barn of trainer Justin Jeansonne.

Kentucky-bred Filly by Kitten's Joy out of Northeast Harbor (Northern Afleet)


Hopeful Joy is a 2014 Kentucky-bred filly we partnered in claiming at Fair Grounds in New Orleans with our friends at Horsplayers Racing Club. We won a 5-way shake for her. The well bred filly is by perennial leading sire Kitten's Joy. She passed through the Keeneland Sales ring twice, once for $145,000 and again for $100,000. The versatile filly is a good addition to our stable. She is in the barn of trainer Justin Jeansonne.
